The Winterfest is a holiday-themed Battle Royale and Save the World introduced with Patch 11.31. The event began on December 18th, 2019 (ironically the same start date as last year's 14 Days of Fortnite) and ended on January 7th, 2020. The Battle Bus once again sports the Christmas theme for a limited time.

Over the time of the event, new and old LTMs would rotate in and out every day at 9AM EST (1200 UDT). It can be big or small limited-time modes. The first LTM that came back was the Arsenal limited time mode. LTM's can come back another day as well.

Challenges and Rewards
During the first 14 days of the event, new challenges will be available everyday at 9AM EST (1200 UDT). By obtaining the challenge, players must enter the Winterfest Cabin and search the Holiday Stockings, rewarding the challenge. Completing that challenge will reward players a free cosmetic. All reward items that can be earned stay and do not expire. There is no reward for completing all the challenges during this event.

Winterfest Lodge
This event also has introduced the Winterfest Cabin which you can head in there to open up daily presents, You can open an additional present every day at 9AM EST (1200 UDT) and you open multiple if you miss a day or two. Whenever a present is opened, an item from the present will be placed in the Winterfest Lodge. Two of the presents are exclusive items, crossed with Star Wars. One of the presents on the left side can't be opened unless all of the presents on the left side are opened.

Item Unvaults
Additionally, during the 14 days of the event, one item or weapon would be taken out of the vault for 24 hours starting form 9AM EST (1200 UDT) but that item will be put back in the vault the following day at that time again. Weapons also can be unvaulted twice during the event.
