Weekly Loading Screens are unique loading screens. The weekly loading screens would be rewarded from challenges, rather than in the Battle Pass. Weekly Loading Screens began in Season 4, and has continued up to Chapter 2 Season 1. Season 4 only contained 8 Weekly Loading Screens, and the number increased to 10 after the next season. Each season had it's own theme and story shown in the loading screen. However, Chapter 2 Season 2 seems to no longer have loading screens.

Chapter 1[]

Season 4[]

Season 4's theme was about superheroes, superhero movies, and mystery, the theme called Brace For Impact. At the beginning of the season, it seemed like it was all about superheroes, until it was revealed that it was just a movie by Week 6. But it takes a mysterious turn for the last few weeks when The Visitor is revealed, and is shown to be the probable cause of The Blast-Off Event.

Season 5[]

Season 5's theme was about how Worlds Collide. It began as Rifts began to appear, which brought a man from the real world into the game. The mysterious crack in the sky from The Blast-Off Event continued as a strong role throughout the whole season, after The CUBE Event, which created the CUBE and sent it across the map. The Weekly Loading Screens mostly go through Drift's story with his friends Brite Bomber, Rex, and Cuddle Team Leader as they explore and eventually find the CUBE, which then uses Brite Bomber to create the Dark Bomber before The Sinking Event.

Season 6[]

Season 6's theme was about how the Darkness Rises, a spooky theme, related to October and Halloween. It began as the CUBE coming out of the ground after The Sinking Event, which caused the island of Loot Lake to become a large Floating Island, leaving a large leak in the lake. The Weekly Loading Screens once again follow mostly the story of a skin, this time called Calamity as she goes from the owner of a ranch to the leader of an army against the Floating Island's Horde, leading to The Butterfly Event. Although, the loading screens this time have a little variety, also following the skins like Giddy-Up, Fable, and Dusk, following the Halloween part of the story.

Season 7[]

Season 7's theme was about a Christmas theme, the title of the season titled You Better Watch Out, as an iceberg from the southwest collides with the island, turning all of the southwest into a snowy Biome. The Weekly Loading Screens once again follow the main character's story, most of it occurring in the Snow Biome. Eventually, the whole map becomes a winter wonderland after the events from the Week 8 loading screen. But while the Ice Storm Event was occurring, someone locked away in Polar Peak seemingly escaped called The Prisoner, which his story led to Season 8. Unfortunately, no Weekly Loading Screens involve the New Year's Event or the Marshmello Concert.

Season 8[]

Season 8's theme was about pirates, adventure, and the end of the fire vs ice battle between The Ice King and The Prisoner. The theme is called X Marks The Spot. Once again, the Weekly Loading Screens would show images of each of the Season 8 Battle Pass Outfits, in order of how they are earned in the Battle Pass. After the Week 7 Loading Screen, the Week 8 Loading Screen would reveal the secret skin of the season, Ruin. Afterwards, a loading screen of Peely and Jonesy, foreshadowing Season 9, and a loading screen of the Vault before The Unvaulting Event.

Season 9[]

Season 9's theme is about the future, titled The Future Is Yours. Instead of the Weekly Loading Screens following the story of the Battle Pass characters, the loading screens would show images of brand new skins. The only loading screen that doesn't introduce new characters is the Week 8 loading screen, showing a part of the Season 9 cinematic when Peely and Jonesy are playing video games together in a bunker after The Volcano Eruption. No sign of The Final Showdown Event is shown in the loading screens.

Season X[]

Season 10's theme is about being Out Of Time as the orb at Loot Lake after The Final Showdown Event began causing serious changes weekly. In Season X, story and new characters would be introduced together in a single loading screen. The Weekly Loading Screens that don't introduce new characters are Week 6, Week 8, and Week 10, but are all major story loading screens. The theme also reintroduces The Visitor back into the story, and introduces The Seven, a group of people similar to The Visitor, like The Scientist which use Rift Beacons to create Rift Zones, thus creating rifts which in the future would be used to bring 6 rockets from other worlds, and using the rocket that The Scientist created, would start The End Event, creating a black hole that sucked up all of the island.

Chapter 2[]

Season 1[]

Chapter 2 Season 1's theme is about a new world, and two groups called E.G.O. and A.L.T.E.R.. After The End Event, a brand new island is now populated by the Fortnite population. The Weekly Loading Screens seem to have brought the Battle Pass character and story related loading screens together into one set of loading screens.
