Gamepedia vs Wikia

Hi, I was wondering if there's been made any attempts (or should be made any) to combine the wiki efforts into one single wiki. As it is currently, the fact that we have 2 wikis at least pushes me personally away from both reading and contributing. Separating the wiki community in two is just damaging for everyone.

Personally I don't like the Gamepedia format/design much, and would prefer Wikia. Best regards, tslupphaug --82.194.210.6 09:25, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

Well, Wikia / Gamepedia is like Windows / Apple - two different companies. If you like Wikia more, we can't hold you, but we're always happy, should you decide to return. Encredechine (talk) 08:29, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
So, basically what you're saying is that there is no way the wiki community can agree on one wiki. Great, good luck with the wikis then. I guess I'll find my info and make my contributions somewhere else. --82.194.210.6 12:33, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
Good luck and have fun! Really, what should I say? We hardly can unite people on this planet, so I don't know how this should work with two wikis, which are run by two different companies. I wished, I could say something else. The thing is, yes, some people like to stay with Wikia and and some like Gamepedia, because it's games only and nothing else. Some also like to stray and use both platforms. Encredechine (talk) 13:20, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
Allright, fair enough, I get you. Since Gamepedia is the wiki that comes up at the top in Google search, and it currently has the most articles, I'll be using this one. I'd like to ask one question regarding the design though - no offense intended - but, why the light text on black background instead of a (cleaner, more professional looking) black text on white/light background? It appears this is the same for most gamepedia wikis I've seen. Is it only me who finds this a bit, idk, weird for a website with a pure informative intent? And if not: consider changing it? Just pointing out the topic for discussion. --82.194.210.6 13:28, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
Neither standard is more "professional" than the other. It is also possible to have an alternative, light-themed skin should registered users and/or contributors actually ask for one. — Game widow (talk) 15:15, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

Not getting the week 8 background

So i completed the week 8 background and im just wondering is this a glitch or is there no background.

FYI, this space is for questions concerning the wiki. In the future you'll get a better response about Battle Royale gameplay questions in places like /r/fortnitebr. However, the information you are looking for is on the wiki: there is, as of now, no Week 8, 9, or 10 Blockbuster reward (no challenges that require completing more than 7 weeks worth of challenges). See: Season 4 Blockbuster Challenges. I will update the loading screen entries to make this more clear. Fusilli zaitsev (talk) 12:19, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
