Search for Survivors was an event during June and July 2017. It allowed players to select one of several YouTube personalities to support while recruiting friends to join Fortnite. Recruiting friends granted the player increasing rewards, and each YouTube personality had a banner that would be granted to players upon selecting them as their "Commander".^[1]
