Introduced	Patch 4.3

Mushrooms are a Handmade Healing Item in Battle Royale added in Patch 4.3. They are found throughout the map on the ground in shady locations. Mushrooms are not placed in the players inventory. Instead, the player receives the benefit of the Mushroom by consuming it with the interaction key. Mushrooms grant 5 shield, up to 100. Mushrooms behave exactly like Apples, granting shields instead.

Availability

Mushrooms appear commonly in swampy or wooded areas, such as Haunted Hills, Shifty Shafts, Lonely Lodge, Dusty Divot, Mushrooms also used to occur in Wailing Woods as well.

Strategy

Mushrooms are useful when you need to restore shield quickly, because their use time is only one second. They are also useful if you don't have space in your inventory, because they do not need to be picked up before using.
