Launch Pad is an Epic item available in Battle Royale. It is used to launch a player into the air to glide away from or over their enemies, or to outrun the storm before it kills you. Once deployed, the Launch Pad can be triggered by any player and has unlimited uses. It cannot be picked back up, but it can be destroyed like any other trap.[1]

Strategy

  • In order to use the launchpad, you must build a floor section and then place the launchpad. Make sure when you build and place the launchpad that there is no trees or buildings in the way of your launch trajectory, as it cannot be moved once placed.
  • Using a jump pad allows you to activate your Glider to slow your fall. You can deploy your glider manually by pressing your jump key, and can be put away if you're high above the ground. The Glider will auto-deploy at a set height based on your height above the ground directly beneath you; this auto-deploy cannot be cancelled, even if the ground below you gets lower.
