Availability

In the past, the Hydra was made available twice in the form of a Legendary Weapon Transform Key:

• As a reward for completing the quest "Fortnite for a Fortnight" during the Survive the Storm event.
• Purchasable from the Event Store during the Mutant Storms event for 2,000 Gold.

Following its unintended inclusion in Birthday Llamas during the Fortnite 1st Birthday Celebration event, Hydra was made available for purchase in the Event Store at a discounted price of 840 Gold and was also added on subsequent opening of Birthday Llamas. The Hydra is now available to all players by researching the schematic in the collection book. This transaction will cost 100 legendary flux.
