Crossbow is a bow in Battle Royale. It is available in Rare and Epic variants. The Crossbow was Vaulted in Patch 4.0.

The weapon eventually made its return for a short time in Patch 6.20, known as the Fiend Hunter Crossbow, a crossbow with no scope and different stats, modified animation and a faster fire rate and larger magazine size. The Crossbow was added back in for the Fortnitemares event and Ice Storm Event, but were made unavailable again at the end of each. The weapon will be added back as Cupid's Crossbow for a limited time when 7.40 arrives. Unlike last time, the crossbow will make its FULL debut instead of it being a new type of crossbow (like the Fiend Hunter Crossbow). The texture of Cupid's Crossbow is the Valentines version of the crossbow.

Trivia

The Crossbow was added to Battle Royale in Patch 2.4.2. Originally, the Crossbow was skinned thematically to match the Valentine's Day theme. The skin was later removed in Patch 3.0.
Due to loot settings not being updated to reflect the then-current patch, 50v50 V2 allowed access to the Crossbow for a short period of time despite it being Vaulted. The loot for 50v50 has since been updated.
