BlueGlo Siphons are side objectives in Save the World that the player must defend in exchange for rewards and large quantities of BluGlo.
Objective[]
Activating the BluGlo Siphon begins the first of up to three defense phases. Players may build and place traps around the Siphon to make the defense easier. During each defense phase, waves of Husks attempt to attack the siphon and the players must fend them off. After the first two phases, players have the choice to either finish siphoning and collect a lesser amount of rewards, or reactivate the siphon for another, harder phase of defense. After the third phase of defense, the players may collect their rewards.
Rewards[]
The amount of rewards granted by the BluGlo Siphon depends on the number of phases completed. Four BluGlo are earned per phase completed, up to 12 for completing all three phases. Failing to protect the Siphon (letting its health be reduced to zero) at any point during any phase forfeits any rewards that may have been gained from earlier phases.
Tips[]
- Be sure which side of the Siphon you are activating when intending to continue on to the next phase! The activatable point that looks like a lever continues to the next phase while the point that looks like a valve wheel stops the siphon and grants rewards. Neither action can be undone so be sure to double check!
