Vault (or vaulted) is the term used to refer weapons/items that were released and was later made unavailable to adjust the game's balance, being a limited-time item, weapon rotations, out of the meta or not being used by the players as much. Until Patch 11.0, most of the vaulted items could still be found on Playground Mode. Vaulted weapons and items can return in an update or in future LTMs. The previous Vault was located under Loot Lake and was a bright room with a desk that holds vaulted weapons in glass panes, as shown in the Unvaulting event which is the nexus that the CUBE sent players too. When a weapon is unvaulted, it means the glass has broken, freeing the weapon and returning it to the regular world. The new vault may be located behind the unbreakable door at the south of Retail Row, at the POI REDACTE

- At the start of Season 6, most vaulted weapons are usually available on Playgrounds if a weapon is vaulted.
- This might match the description of the Vault because if it means they’re not gone forever, that means they can still appear in playgrounds.
- However, despite being said in Season 5, those vaulted weapons in that season never appeared in playgrounds.
- Unfortunately, as of Patch 11.0, all vaulted weapons and items have been removed from Playground Mode except for Vending Machines.
