The Vault Season X.png

Vault (or vaulted) is the term used to refer weapons/items that were released and was later made unavailable to adjust the game's balance due to being overpowered, being a limited-time item, to bring back a vaulted weapon, out of the meta or not being used by the players base as much. Until Patch 11.0, most of the vaulted items could still be found in Creative. Vaulted weapons and items can return in an update or in future LTMs. The previous Vault was located under Loot Lake and was a bright room with a desk that holds vaulted weapons in glass panes, as shown in the Unvaulting event which is the nexus that the CUBE sent players too. When a weapon is unvaulted, it means the glass has broken, freeing the weapon and returning it to the regular world.

Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle v4.4 Initial Patch of Season 9 The Thermal Scoped Rifle was the rarest weapon in the game with a 0.4% chance of dropping. It was only useful in Team Rumble, as it was more common to find them in Supply Drops. It was also vaulted to free up space.
Light Machine Gun v3.5.2 Initial Patch of Season 6 The Light Machine Gun would utterly tear through structures and has no DMG falloff. It also didn't have that good accuracy (especially when trying to Spray and Pray) and would tear through any structure including metal walls.
Tactical Assault Rifle v9.01 v9.30 Content Update #1 (Rare) variant, v10.00 (Epic and Legendary) The Rare variant was first vaulted because it will help the class of Assault Rifles become more distributed, The remaining variants of the Tactical Assault Rifle was probably vaulted because there were many other Assault Rifle's in game or to do with the John Wick event being over. The Suppressed SMG could still be alternate to the Tactical AR.

It was also removed from Creative and Playground to enhance the performance and FPS.

Crossbow v2.4.2 Initial Patch of Season 4 Although it is a Suppressed weapon, it was extremely rare and less powerful than even the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle or Suppressed Sniper Rifle.
SMG v5.00 Content Update v7.30 content update and 12.00 In the patch 7.30, the SMG was vaulted. In patch 11.00, it was unvaulted with Epic and Legendary variants.
