Tasks refer to the variety of activities available to players in Save the World. They include Missions, Quests, and Side Objectives. Completing them grants rewards and progresses the story.

Missions[]

Main article: Missions

Missions are the core gameplay element of Save the World. Each Mission has a Main Objective and a variety of Side Objectives. Entering a Mission is the only way to gather resources, complete Quests, and craft/use Weapons, Traps, Heroes, and Defenders.

Mission Alerts[]

Main article: Mission Alerts

Mission Alerts appear on the Map as Missions with a Storm Vortex around them. These Missions have different modifiers which can buff or weaken enemies/players. Mission Alerts grant extra rewards, including Evolution Materials, Experience, Schematics, Materials, Gold icon Gold, and rarely V-bucks iconV-Bucks. Extra Rewards can be claimed once per Mission Alert, up to three times per day.[1] Mission Alerts change every six hours.

Side Objectives[]

Main article: Side objectives

Side Objectives are smaller activities available during Missions that do not contribute to the Mission's Objective. They can grant Resources, BluGlo, or additional Rewards.

Quests[]

Main article: Quests

Quests drive the main storyline and Event progression. They are objectives that players must complete, and offer special Rewards for completing them.
