Introduced Patch 9.20
Vaulted Patch 10.20

Storm Flip was an Epic utility item available in Battle Royale. There were two uses for the Storm Flip item. You could throw the item in a safe zone to create a sphere-shaped storm that had the same damage as the current storm, or you could use the item in the storm to create a temporary sphere-shaped safe zone. The effect would last 20 seconds before disappearing. It does not do any damage in Creative. The Storm Flip could not be stacked, like the Chug Jug.

The Storm Flip was vaulted in the 10.20 Patch, probably due to the item being quite strong and unfair in endgame circles especially.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • If you throw a Storm Flip inside another Storm Flip, it doesn't cancel out the previous one, rather the storm flip effect is dependent on the current storm circle and not on the storm effect itself.
  • In certain aspects, the Storm Flip kind of resembles a Molotov cocktail and functions similarly to one too. A Storm Flip creates a small sphere in which the storm is free to damage opponents and the users, while a Molotov cocktail roasts anything in a small area.
