Description
Consumes a Charge Fragment to place a Shock Tower that pulses every 0.5 seconds, and lasts for 3 seconds. Causes Chain lightning, doing a base of 12 energy damage to enemies within 1.367 tiles, stunning small enemies for .75 seconds. Can stun large enemies after multiple hits.

Patch 5.0 (July 12, 2018)

Ability Rebalance
  • Shock Tower
    • Shock Tower should be a great tool for taking out groups of weak Husks, but it doesn't quite get the job done. To address this we've given Shock Tower more damage and a much shorter cooldown. The duration is a bit shorter but you'll be able to cast it more frequently. We’ve also reduced the stun duration slightly in order to make room for the other improvements.
    • Reduced cooldown from 60 to 20 seconds.
    • Reduced cost from 50 to 30 stamina.
    • Increased base damage from 9 to 12.
    • Lowered stun duration from 1 to .75 seconds.
    • Lowered duration from 6 to 3 seconds.

Patch 3.5 (April 11, 2018)

  • Shock Tower:
    • No longer requires a Fragment to operate.
    • Cooldown has been set to 60 seconds.
    • Stamina cost has been set to 50.
    • Using a Fragment will reduce the cooldown by 30% and reduce the stamina cost to 0.
    • Damage has not been adjusted.

  • The Outlander’s ‘Shock Tower’ now correctly displays its lightning visual FX when attacking.

  • Fixed an issue which caused enemies to attempt to attack Shock Towers.

Patch 1.7.1 (October 11, 2017)

  • Fixed a bug which caused ‘TEDDY’ and Shock Towers to one-shot monsters at high level, and allowed them to be damaged by effects like bees and poison clouds.
    • ‘TEDDY’ and Shock Tower now use the environmental object damage model rather than character damage model.
      • Increased the health of ‘TEDDY’, Shock Tower, and ‘BASE’.

Patch 1.4.7 (August 17, 2017)

  • Rate of fire increased from 1/sec to 2/sec
  • Base damage per second increased from 16 to 18
  • Base impact per second increased from 270 to 350
