Disambig This article is about Regions within Map Locations in Save the World. For Battle Royale Named Locations, see Battle Royale Locations.

Regions are distinct areas in each Save the World map location.[1] The regions are smaller, themed areas with different missions and tasks to fulfill.

Selecting a Region[]

Each mission on the map has four attributes that may influence the player’s choice of mission: Mission Type, Recommended Power, Rewards, and Region.

First, players should choose the mission difficulty from the map location that is most suitable for their Power Level. Then, depending on what Quests the player needs to complete or what Materials they need to farm, they should decide on a Mission with the proper type, rewards, and region for their goals. Choosing the right region is often important for Daily Quests, as many of them require destroying items that are only found in certain regions.

List of Regions[]

The Grasslands[]

The Grasslands are a plain, slightly hilly area. It consists mostly of rocks, with trees dotted around places. It's very easy to navigate around this map due to the lack of visual obstruction. This region isn't particularly unique, although it does contain some caves and abandoned mines you'll most likely be able to find some valuable resources in.

The Forest[]

The Forest region consists of densely packed woods, with trees everywhere. Prime place to farm if you are ever in need of wood, planks, or twines. Stone is also quite common, despite the abundance of trees. Completing quests in this zone can be tricky at times due to the lack of vision, and sometimes objectives can spawn in difficult locations, making them more challenging to defend. Forests are a wonderful location if you're looking for caves. Due to the large number of hills and dips in the map, caves are likely to spawn very often, and 9 times out of 10 will contain valuable ore and loot.

The Suburbs[]

The Suburbs region is a suburban neighborhood with lots of houses, cars, and parks. Houses are everywhere, as expected, making finding chests and a basements possibly filled with loot a breeze to find. Daily challenges are best to complete here, due to the Parks you can discover, and the survivors you can find in houses or on the outskirts of the map.

The City[]

The City includes tall buildings and cars as far as the eye can see. Great place for defending objective, as it could spawn near a building with a basement, prime time for taking advantage. If you're ever in need of mechanical parts or nuts and bolts, here is an ideal place to farm.

The Industrial Park[]

Much like the city, the Industrial Park is a great place for farming. It has an abundance of mechanical objects, making it ideal to farm Nuts 'n' Bolts, as well as many other materials.

The Desert[]

The Desert biome is only available in Canny Valley and Twine Peaks regions. Its a desert filled with abandoned mines, empty gas stations, destroyed motels and lots of rocks! Because the desert has a lot of rocks, its a good idea to farm stone here.

Ghost Town[]

The Ghost Town is a biome that is similar to the Desert. It has amusement parks, wild west towns and forts.

Thunder Route 99[]

Thunder Route 99 is biome similar to the Desert, but it has road that is surrounded by motels, stores, diners and gas stations.

Lakeside[]

Lakeside is a biome introduced in the 8.00 update. Lakeside's distinctive feature is large quantity of lakes and ponds.
