Meowscles is an Epic T-Icon-Adaptive-64.png T-Icon-Enlightened-64.png Outfit with T-Icon-Variant-64.png in Battle Royale that can be obtained as a reward from Level 60 of Battle Pass Chapter 2 Season 2.

Backstory[edit | edit source]

Meowscles first appeared in Season 7 in a poster in the Feline By Design Loading Screen. A concept art based on the loading screen called Buff Cat was created by the Reddit user RexSadio, and the Meowscles outfit is based on that concept art.

At the end of Chapter 2, Season 1, many leaks of this outfit were released including a teaser. In the end, Meowscles is unlocked at Level 60 of the Chapter 2, Season 2 Battle Pass.

In Chapter 2 Season 3, he had a child, Kit, making him the only known Fortnite character to have an offspring. Kit's mother is possibly Lynx because in The Lab loading screen we can see a picture of Lynx. However, Kit's biological mother is not known.

Doggo seems to be his enemy, as there used to be a dartboard with Doggo's picture pinned to it in his quarters at The Yacht. Doggo seems to be Kit's enemy as well, since his room at the Catty Corner features a similar dartboard.

Lore[edit | edit source]

He was seen as one of the agents of GHOST in The Agency who was called in for a meeting. Chapter 2 Season 2 He was later assigned to be the The Boss of The Yacht. Sometime later during week six, he defected to SHADOW and was kicked out of The Yacht to reside at Box Factory.

Meowscles was later seen in his default style, which might mean that he has left SHADOW. He was controlling a shark with a fishing rod and was riding on skis behind. The shark swam over Midas' raft, destroying it. Next, Aquaman emerged on a giant Flopper to fist-bump Meowscles. This abruptly ended as Aquaman spotted that they were about to crash, he pointed it out and left. Meowscles just about saved it but went onto The Brat's barbeque and his skis caught fire. He then flew through a floating caravan, coming out holding Jellie and his skis no longer on fire. Afterwards, he swerved through some junk and used a ramp to jump, while doing this he threw Jellie behind him. Then, he landed on some cement drying at The Authority and used a passing Choppa as a ride. However, Blaze kicked him out. He landed back on water between two boats that collided with each other and exploded. Finally, Meowscles ended his journey, arriving at The Fortilla.

Cosmetic Overview[edit | edit source]

According to the concept art created, Meowscles is a muscular humanoid cat, originally known as Buff Cat, with a built-in emote called Swole Cat. He has 4 edit styles: Default, GHOST, SHADOW and Golden Agent.

Original Style[edit | edit source]

  • Meowscles, despite being male, is a calico cat. In real life, almost all calico cats are female. His fur color might be caused by a rare genetic condition called "chimerism", which makes fertile male calico cats possible[1]. It is also possible that he is transgender, or the colouring of his fur is artificial.
    • Interestingly, his son Kit is also a calico cat despite being male.
  • His age is six in cat years, making him physically forty-two years old.
  • He has a heart with "Lynx" written inside of it tattooed on his right bicep.

GHOST/SHADOW Styles[edit | edit source]

  • Both GHOST and SHADOW edit styles are reactive, with the GHOST style getting a rainbow glow for each kill, which grows stronger with each kill. For his SHADOW style, the rainbow glow is replaced with a purple glow.
  • The styles somewhat respresent the Eternal Struggles Set.
  • His GHOST edit style highlight an angel/guardian-like theme with sparkle theme eyes.
  • His SHADOW edit style showcase Devil/shadow-like theme with scratches on his right bicep and eye. Out of the three main styles, SHADOW Meowscles seems to partake in recreational yarn the most of them.

Golden Agent Style[edit | edit source]

  • The Golden Agent Style is an enlightened style for Meowscles. The style is earned at Level 180, a similar style to the original style but with a partly golden head. However, enlightened means that the style changes over time. Every Level, more gold appears on Meowscles, until Level 220 when Meowscles is fully golden.
