The Lightsabers were Mythic melee weapons in Battle Royale, released after the Star Wars Scene Preview Event. Each Lightsaber is obtainable by looking in special blue chests in which all 4 variants of the weapon come in.

It is the one of the weapons that blocks and deals damage. The other one is the Kingsman Umbrella. The Lightsaber is the third melee weapon in Battle Royale. The closest Save the World item is the Vindertech Smasher.

There are 4 versions of this weapon: Blue (Rey’s), Green (Luke’s), Red (Kylo Ren’s) and Purple (Mace Windu’s), but the differences are purely cosmetic.

Lightsabers were unvaulted temporarily from May 2nd to May 5th 2020, during Chapter 2 Season 2 to celebrate the Star Wars Day.

  • The Lightsabers had three different elimination feed messages that referenced scenes from the Star Wars movies.
    • One references a scene from A New Hope where Obi-Wan gives Luke his father's lightsaber, describing it as "an elegant weapon for a more civilized age".
    • The other references the Duel on Mustafar scene from Revenge of the Sith, where Obi-Wan shouts "I have the high ground!".
