Launch Pad is an Battle Royale. It is used to launch a player into the air to glide away from or over their enemies, or to outrun the storm before it kills you. Sometimes called a "McQuack", after Launchpad McQuack from Duck Tales or Darkwing Duck. Once deployed, the Launch Pad can be triggered by any player and has unlimited uses. It cannot be picked back up, but it can be destroyed like any other trap. The Launch Pad was vaulted in Patch 11.0, making it only available in Creative. It was vaulted to reduce mobility. Launch Pads were then unvaulted only in non-competitive playlists in Patch 11.50 because players were complaining about the lack of mobility. In Patch 11.30, the Launch Pad was changed that once used, your glider would be automatically deployed which hinted its eventual return. It was shortly reverted in Patch 11.40. Like the Scoped Assault Rifle, it's unknown why the changes have been reverted.

Strategy[edit | edit source]
- In order to use the launchpad, you must build a floor section and then place the launchpad. Make sure when you build and place the launchpad that there is no trees or buildings in the way of your launch trajectory, as it cannot be moved once placed.
- Using a jump pad allows you to activate your Glider to slow your fall. You can deploy your glider manually by pressing your jump key, and can be put away if you're high above the ground. The Glider will auto-deploy at a set height based on your height above the ground directly beneath you; this auto-deploy cannot be cancelled, even if the ground below you gets lower.
- Every Supply Drop always has a Launch Pad.
