Battle Royale and Creative[]

In the Battle Royale and Creative modes, players have the default inventory, which they can use in any way they want. There are 5 slots for items, not including the Pickaxe, but you can hold up to 999 ammo/materials of a given kind. In Creative, the island owner can change the maximum number of item slots and the maximum amount of ammunition or materials.

Save the World[]

The Inventory is where upgrade resources, weapon/trap schematics, Heroes, Defenders, and Survivors are stored. Hovering over an item will display a tooltip with more information. It is possible to increase inventory size by purchasing an early access pack , purchasing a node in the Skill Tree,[1] or by purchasing individual slots form the in game item shop. Physical items like weapons, traps and ingredients for building and crafting are stored in the Backpack. Backpack slots are increased through game play by spending research points on Backpack upgrades. The backpack can also be increased by purchasing a higher tier access pack.
