Season 6 of Chapter 2, also known as Season 16 of Battle Royale or Primal, began on March 16th, 2021 and will end on June 7th, 2021. The theme revolves around wilderness, and the storyline revolves around continuing to contain The Zero Point. This Season introduced 4 new Animals, Wolves, Boars, Chickens, Frogs, and it also introduced the Crafting system.
The Battle Pass tab is the same as Chapter 2 Season 5, but it has a blooming flower instead of the IO logo on the background.

On March 9th, Epic Games put this image in a blog post about the next Live Event. It shows The Zero Point with a brighter shade of pink to it and extremely unstable.
The next day, Epic Games promoted this image on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
Starting from March 13th, Epic Games started releasing teasers for the season:
Teaser 1, "Incoming Transmission - Reality Log 474, He’s given everything to the Order... and for what? 3.16.2021."
Teaser 2, "👀"
Teaser 3, "::ACCESS DENIED:: Oh we’ll see about that... 3.16.2021 #FortniteSeason6"
Teaser 4, "If they won't give us what we want. Then we'll take it ourselves. 3.16.2021. #FortniteSeason6"[1]
[]
- The 1st teaser is narrated by a dejected Agent Jonesy who declares that The Zero Point is out of control. Wondering what the Imagined Order could do something but they do nothing and implying that it's not their style, Agent Jonesy refuses to see reality collapse when he has given everything for the organization.
- The 2nd teaser is a video used in a retweet to Neymar Jr's reply on teaser 1, which teased Neymar. It is a wolf with the text "Shhh..." written on the screen.
- This pretty much confirms that Brazilian Soccer Player Neymar Jr. will be getting an Icon Series skin in the future.
- The 3th teaser is with Agent Jonesy who is denied access to file 8752 relating to The Seven. Annoyed by having his access blocked by The Imagined Order, he threatens to go and take it himself.
- This teaser could have something to do with The Zero Crisis Finale or Agent Jonesy could ask player for help to find this confidential file.
- The 4th and last teaser shows Agent Jonesy with war clothes in front of a panorama of the Island where fires which broke out everywhere as if a riot had started. The sentence of the teaser could indicate that Agent Jonesy would take the lead of a group to fight The Imagined Order to retrieve the files he requested in the previous teaser.
