Category Battle Royale Items
Introduced 7.10 Content Update #2
Vaulted 7.30 Content Update

The Boom Box was an Epic explosive weapon in Battle Royale. Once thrown, it will begin to play music and emit powerful blasts that deal 200 damage to all structures within a spherical 2 tile radius, but do not harm the player. Additionally, Boom Boxes are affected by gravity and will fall if the floor beneath it is destroyed. Boom Boxes will automatically stop after 18 seconds, however, opponents may destroy a Boom Box by depleting all 400HP. Boom Boxes can be found in stacks of 2 from floor loot, chests, Vending Machines, Supply Llamas, and Supply Drops.

The Boom Box has been vaulted and replaced with the Bottle Rockets item on the 7.30 content update, therefore making it only available in Playground Mode and Creative. It was vaulted to replace the Bottle Rockets (which is now vaulted) and was extremely annoying at combat, almost impossible to build and keep up a structure.
